Introducing… Guardian Angel Scholarship
What is the Guardian Angel Scholarship?
This scholarship was established in 2024by a private donation from a generous donor. The purpose of this scholarship is twofold:
-To provide financial support to families pursuing a Catholic education and
-To foster a strong, vibrant, Catholic community in Anchorage.
Who is Eligible?
Scholarships are available for families of full-time students enrolled in Kindergarten through 12th grade for the 2025-2026 school year.
Scholarship Recipients:
The scholarship committee will confidentially review all applications submitted and will determine all awards. All awards will be designated on a “per family” basis. Tuition award amounts may vary but not likely to exceed $3,000 per family. If your tuition obligation has been met, you can use your scholarship for the next school year. Families approved for a scholarship will be notified no later than March 22, 2025.
Evaluation Criteria:
All entries will be individually evaluated based on following the completeness of the application, the sincerity of the written response, and the family’s dedication to the Catholic faith and our school.
Other Details:
1. Students of recipient families must follow the behavioral and academic codes of conduct of Holy Rosary Academy.
2. Scholarship funds awarded will be sent directly to HRA and input into the family FACTS account. No cash will be disbursed directly to any applicant.
3. All applications must be filled out completely and submitted to the Principal by February 16, 2025 in order to be eligible for consideration.
4. Scholarship assistance is awarded without regard to income, race, color, age, gender, or national origin.
