Why This Night Matters

One Night That Carries
the Whole Year

For one evening, the Rue du Bac comes to Anchorage. There is a signature cocktail in your hand, a paddle on your table, and a room full of people who believe in this school. The Gala is the largest fundraising event of our school year, and every ticket, bid, and sponsorship goes directly to work for Holy Rosary Academy students. It is a direct investment in an independent, Catholic faith-integrated classical education right here in Anchorage.

Live Auction

Paddles up. The live auction is the centerpiece of the evening, with the full room in the bidding.

Cocktails and Dinner

Cocktail hour opens the evening with HRA signature cocktails and passed appetizers, followed by a "French-themed" seated dinner.

*The bar is run by the Marriott and open for purchase throughout the evening.

Silent Auction

Online bidding opens October 9. You do not have to be in the room, or even in town, to bid on experiences, getaways, and one of a kind items.

More Ways to Join In

There is more to the night than dinner and the live auction. Some of it you can join from anywhere. Some of it only happens in the room.

The Golden Ticket Raffle

$100

One hundred tickets. One winner. Look for the students carrying gold balloons in the ballroom, buy your ticket, and wait. One name is drawn at the start of the live auction, and that person picks the live auction item of their choice on the spot, no bidding required.

*Golden Tickets are sold at the Gala only, one per person. Some live auction items are excluded. The winner completes an Alaska Prize Receipt before receiving the prize.

Silent Auction

Bidding opens online on October 9 and runs through the evening of the Gala. Anyone can bid, whether you are at the table or following along from home. Register now and browse the items as they are added.

Games and Raffles

Heads and Tails runs live during the evening at the Marriott. The Fur Raffle is $50 a ticket, and you do not need to be present to win.

Gena & Joe Columbus Memorial Pledge Drive

Gena and Joe Columbus were generous donors to Holy Rosary Academy. The Memorial Pledge drive is now our largest single source of support. Your generosity will fund all areas of campus life, including new lab equipment, drama, festivals, textbooks, sports programs, transportation to Mass, maintenance of our new, beautiful building, and MORE.

Tickets are $150 per person and tables of ten are $1,500. If you cannot join us on October 17, you can still bid in the silent auction online starting October 9 or support Holy Rosary Academy students with a gift.
